Do you have an unused website page URL that has been indexed in google search? Maybe you are currently looking for a way to remove indexed website page URLs. The URL of the page you want to delete is the page that is already indexed and not the one you want.
The page may be found by the user in the google search engine and may only be a blank page that he finds. So to avoid users clicking on pages that do not provide the information they want, the URL of the page should be removed.
You may have removed the page from your website, but it still appears in search engines because it has been indexed. Removing the page URL via Google Search Console is the easiest way for you to do. Google Search Console is a very helpful tool for managing the appearance and performance of your website on Google search.
In the following, I will share how to delete indexed website page URLs using Google Search Console.
1. First, you must visit the Google Search Console site or you can click the link HERE.
2. Then you select the Index option on the left and select Deletion, a display like the following will appear.
3. Next you click NEW REQUEST.
4. Enter the URL of the web page you want to delete (you can select Delete this URL only or Remove all URLs with this prefix).
5. Then click NEXT, a notification will appear DELETE URL?, you click SEND REQUEST.
6. A URL removal request status will appear and you can monitor it.
The URL you submit will be removed from Google searches for about six months and will also remove the URL from Google's cache. You can also cancel the deletion request by clicking on the three-dot icon to the right of the status. This method only removes temporary URLs, after six months Google will probably add them back to the index and start showing them again in search results. Permanently delete there are many more ways that you can use.
