We show you those small and little-known towns that stand out for their incomparable beauty.
There are majestic cities with impressive buildings, full of life and with many possibilities for leisure. But there are other options that are more romantic, more magical, calmer and with unparalleled beauty, like those perfume bottles that shelter the best of fragrances.
The travel blog 'Road Affair' has selected the most beautiful towns in the world, in a list that shows the particularities of these places, different from what we can imagine and with their own history. These enclaves, which stand out for their uniqueness, are worth visiting and will undoubtedly swell the best photo albums, also decorating the tourist's social networks.
In this catalog we can see incomparable frames of all kinds. From villages built with clay bricks in the south of Morocco, to blooming lavender fields in France, which serve as a “carpet” at the entrance of a village with a medieval castle. It does not matter if they are in the mountains, on the coast, in a valley or in a remote place, because they all meet the main and most valuable standards of beauty.
Some of these towns have also served as a commercial route, as is the case of the Moroccan Ait Ben-Haddou, located near the Atlas Mountains. Historically it was a passing point for ancient merchants, who crossed the Sahara Trade Route and crossed the city transporting spices and gold on their way to other towns.
As far as Spain is concerned, the first town to appear in this classification is Júzcar, Malaga, previously known as the 'white town' for its whitewashed walls. In 2011 the multinational company Sony reached an agreement with representatives of the village to paint the city blue and call it 'The Smurf Village', as part of the promotion of their next film: The Smurfs. Since then, the walls of the town have maintained that color.
Next, we offer you in our image gallery those towns that stand out for their incomparable beauty and charm. Prepare your camera or mobile device and you will be the envy of your friends on social networks. Ahead!
